Hexic HD was a free Xbox Live Arcade game at launch and it was a pretty cool puzzler where you rotate groups of 3 hexagonal tiles in the hopes of matching 3 or more, making flowers, or forming lines. Tetris is another fantastic series that didn't get the best representations released for Xbox 360. I love Bust-A-Move and it's too bad that the only entry in the wonderful franchise for Xbox 360 is Bust-A-Move Live! It's a serviceable entry that's fun to play but it's definitely lacking when you compare it to its excellent predecessors such as the top-notch Bust-A-Move '99.
It's hard to be in a bad mood while playing Yosumin! Bust-A-Move Live! This may sound easy but carefully observing the playfield while trying to acquire all of the necessary colours so you can complete the current stage can be a rather tricky feat. It's played by simply highlighting rectangles with each corner being the same colour in order to claim all the tiles within.

You can play the entire campaign in 2 player co-op like in Halo but unlike that game some missions in Perfect Dark start the players in completely separate locations, forcing the players to complete different objectives own their own.Īs for playing Perfect Dark in 2020, The XBLA release on Rare Replay is a great version to play that runs at a perfect 1080p 60FPS. Perfect Dark is a great Multiplayer game. If you liked the open ended levels and objectives of games like Dishonored and Deus Ex, Perfect Dark was one of the first games to focus entirely on objectives like that as opposed to just collecting keys or finding the level exit. If your aim was good you could easily sprint through levels, side strafing enemy's attacks. No need to stand still and aim down sights to kill enemies. If you liked the Doom reboot games, Perfect Dark has movement that's very fluid and fast like those games. Countless games still use basic design concepts that Perfect Dark helped develop like it's open ended level design with multiple objectives the player was required to figure out. Perfect Dark is an amazing game that was really ahead of it's time.
